• Bachelor’s degree; MSN preferred

• Must have experience in caring for the Labor and Delivery patient and progressive management experience
• Five years’ experience as a manager, with clinical background in Labor and Delivery required
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred)

• Must be able to work in 4 of the following areas, 2 of which must be critical care: NICU, PICU, CHSU, NCICU, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients)
• BLS for the healthcare provider and PALS, by the American Heart Association, required upon hire

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Kettering Health Network

Kettering Health Network, located in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio, is currently seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to support the NICU. According to Thomson Reuters, four of the nation’s top 100 hospitals can be found within the Kettering Health Network. The NNP will be based out of one of those four hospitals, Kettering Medical Center, but may also include rotation to other network facilities. Primary duties of the NNP would include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to newborns presenting with severe and complex problems.
• Provide consultation to high risk mothers. Perform routine immunizations
• Perform screenings of Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABRs)
• Provide immediate supportive care of the newborn in the delivery room

• Provide well newborn evaluations, diagnose and treat including phototherapy requirements
• Lead the data collection process for Vermont Oxford Network
• Able to perform, and be credentialed for, clinical and technical procedures appropriate in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management of neonatal patients with consultation, collaboration and general supervision from a neonatalogist. Clinical Nurse Manager - Obstetrics Acute

The Clinical Nurse Manager of Obstetrics manages this busy 40+ bed unit with a focus on mentoring staff and on achieving service excellence goals. He/she assists the Director in the day-to-day management of the patient care center operations and serves as their designee in her absence. This position directs, evaluates, and supervises activities, programs and projects in the patient care center which achieve department goals, maintain quality patient care delivery, and promote professional standards in accordance with hospital policy, JCAHO standards, and Title XXII and California regulations.

Requirements:

• Current valid California RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Management required
• Three (3) years of acute care clinical experience with recent and progressively more responsible management experience leading to demonstrated fiscal, human resources, and operational efficiency competence
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Perinatal Clinical Nurse Manager
• Current BLS-HP and NRP required
• Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months
• Effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage change through collaborative and positive leadership skills
• Ability to use the HIS computer system and MGH standard PC applications
